PantherMUNC II offers seven committees, accomodating a wide variety of skill levels and interests. We recommend newer delegates to consider committees marked with an asterisk (*).
General Assembly
Discussing the ethics and impacts of pharmaceutical drug marketing to medical practitioners.
Discussing the accreditation and oversight of the voluntary carbon market and its verification bodies.
CRISIS
Addressing the Clone Wars and the course of action to take against the CIS as members of the Galactic Senate and other Republic-affiliated individuals.
Specialized
Reevaluating Military Restrictions and National Grievances Following the Treaty of Versailles and Washington Naval Conference (1933).
What Committee Types are there?
PantherMUNC II is proud to offer three committee types: General Assembly (GA), Crisis, and Specialized.
We recommend newer delegates to consider GAs, and more advanced delegates to consider crises.
General Assembly
GAs are typical UN-style committees. Parliamentary procedure, bloc-building, and consensus-driven policy are emphasized.
Crisis
Crises are fast-paced committees. They update dynamically depending on the people inside of the committee. Adaptivity and charisma are emphasized.
Specialized
The rules of a specialized committee vary depending on the Chair, but typically use GA style procedure with some modifications. Please see individual background guides for more details.
