Discussing the accreditation and oversight of the voluntary carbon market and its verification bodies.
Crisis/Specialized
Reevaluating Military Restrictions and National Grievances Following the Treaty of Versailles and Washington Naval Conference (1933).
A Note Regarding Rules of Procedure
As part of the Secretariat's rigorous overhaul of PantherMUNC's proceedings, PantherMUNC II has adopted new rules of procedure (ROP) for its GA committees. These rules of procedure differ from typical American-style ROP, specifically during voting procedure, so we recommend delegates to watch our help video on our resources page. The new ROP is similar to international conferences' ROP, like Global MUN, THIMUN, or AMUN, so if you or your delegation plans on attending any international conference, PantherMUNC may be a valuable experience.
What Committee Types are there?
PantherMUNC II is proud to offer three committee types: General Assembly (GA), Crisis, and Specialized.
We recommend newer delegates to consider GAs, and more advanced delegates to consider crises.
For PantherMUNC, we define "specialized" as any committee that makes any modification to the GA or Crisis ROP, no matter how large or small.
General Assembly
GAs are typical UN-style committees. Rules of procedure, bloc-building, and consensus-driven policy are emphasized.
Crisis
Crisis committees are fast-paced. They update dynamically depending on the people inside of the committee. Adaptivity and charisma are emphasized.
Specialized
The rules of a specialized committee vary depending on the Chair, but typically use GA style procedure with some modifications. Please see individual committee pages and background guides for more details.
